The support she anticipated, like unemployment benefits, still eludes her as she now deals with the potential threat of having hip surgery, leaving her in a financial void. It's as if the taps of support have run dry; there's no available cash, no familial safety net to fall back on. The child support, a crucial financial lifeline, remains unpaid. The occupation that once sustained her family, relying on a 100% commission model, was significantly affected during the tumultuous times of COVID-19.

Each week, a significant portion of their income goes towards the motel's hefty $300 fee. Heartbreakingly, Delphine's efforts to find a suitable home for her family are thwarted by the cruel reality of being told she earns too much for a two-bedroom but too little for a three-bedroom. To make matters worse, they rely on eating out every day, adding to their financial strain. Imagine the relief and gratitude Delphine would feel with assistance to cover gas expenses and storage fees, providing a glimmer of hope and stability in their challenging circumstances.
