Janay is a survivor of human trafficking who has been experiencing financial hardship after being laid off from her job in August. Despite her efforts to remain financially stable, she has exhausted her emergency savings and is struggling to keep up with her monthly expenses. Janay is seeking financial assistance to help cover her rent and maintain stable housing as she navigates this unexpected setback and works toward regaining financial stability. We are requesting $500 to cover a portion of Janay's rental payment during this time that would provide much-needed relief and help prevent further housing insecurity.
