Tashanda began taking cosmetology classes at the Richmond Technical Center to start a new career, but classes have been canceled because of the social distancing requirement. Now Tashanda needs support with groceries as her three children will be home all day attending school virtually.

Hospitalizations and trouble finding a reliable babysitter to care for her children have made it difficult for her to maintain a steady income. Her youngest is about a year old. She's enrolled in a Certified Medical Assistant Program, excited about the opportunity to work toward a certification and employment. Due to COVID-19, her classes will be held partly online, and Montaziya has an urgent need for a laptop so she can navigate the virtual portion of the program.

While Shanice and her baby boy now have a safe place to call home, she is facing financial challenges after being laid off from her job. Shanice needs assistance with clothing, baby supplies, cleaning supplies, and other household essentials as she seeks employment.
