Charles is on fixed social security income. His medication does not allow him to work right now and Covid has made it difficult for his wife to work. He has tried to receive additional government assistance but has fallen through the cracks. Charles and wife are senior citizens and are doing the best they can ti survive these difficult times. They have fallen behind on their utility bills and need assistance to catch up while they work through the red tape updating their benefit status.

Adeline received assistance with baby supplies

14 years old, Adeline just gave preterm birth to a baby girl. She planned to give her baby up for adoption, but could not go through with it. Her mother is helping as much as she can, but is in recovery from substance use disorder and barely able to make ends meet for Adeline and her four other children. Adeline did not have a baby shower and is in dire need of baby supplies. Assistance with bottles, clothes, blankets, diapers and a bassinet would mean so much to her family.

Jolinda is a single mother of two. She is legally blind and relies heavily on disability benefits to make ends meet. She was working full time before her place of employment shut down due to Covid. She was recently forced to move out of her home when her landlord sold the house she was renting. She has secured new housing but the cost of the move and security deposit has made it difficult to pay her rent this month. Assistance covering her January rent will get her back on track while she waits for her job to call her back to work.
