This type of support will give Brey the confidence he needs during his job search.

After making a payment arrangement, Christina needs help with reconciling her account. This type of help will help to keep the utilities on in the house.

Tina has recently gotten her own apartment after experiencing homelessness and living in a shelter. She and her family are excited to be moving into a home of their own but need assistance with furniture. Tina is working with a local non-profit agency to acquire furniture but needs additional assistance.

Nancy is a returning citizen and recovering addict who has been clean for a little over two years. She is working to regain steady employment. She recently lost her job and has fallen behind on the rent at the rooming house where she stays. It is very important that she is able to maintain secure housing as she looks for a new job because this has the potential to throw off her progress and slow down her ability to regain custody of her children. She has several pending offers and reliable transportation and just needs a little support as she navigates the interim.

Khatiti has been out of work for the past several months due to a severe injury. She is recovering and waiting for the go ahead from her doctor to return. She is a single mother and is making due the best she can in the meantime. She is connecting with community organizations for financial and emotional support and is optimistic about with the near future looks like. Assistance paying this bill is just one of the pieces of the puzzle to help close the circle as Khatiti progresses.

Justice is a young single mother of two. She recently lost her mother to a stroke and does not have a huge family support system. Her work ethic and determination despite her circumstances is commendable. She is well on her way to reaching her goals and providing a sustainable economic situation for her children. She has recently fallen behind on her car note because of limited hours at her job and could use some assistance to catch up.

Barbara has been sleeping in her car and has recently begun staying in a shelter. She needs a gas card so that she can continue to get to and from work as she continues to work with CCC to find stable and long-term housing.

Rebecca is working with CCC's outreach team and is in the process of getting connected with a shelter and a long term housing solution. In the meantime, she is staying outside on the streets. She is vulnerable to COVID and is fighting cancer and COPD. It would be helpful for her to stay in a hotel for two nights while she waits for shelter.

She’s been trying to pick up extra hours at work to make ends meet but has fallen behind in her electric bill. Kimberly has asked for an extension and was given a date of November 23, 2021. This type of assistance will help her avoid a disconnect notice.

John is currently experiencing homelessness and sleeping outside. He doesn't have income and is locked out of his storage unit. All of his belongings including his ID and medication are in the storage unit. John needs assistance paying a locksmith so that he can retrieve his ID and medication.

Help with Laptop. Amanda is a single mom who also is in transition with her housing. During her move, her laptop and many other of her belongings were stolen. Amanda is in school and needs her computer to complete classes. She also is in search of employment and was using her computer to conduct job searches. This type of assistance would be tremendous for Amanda.

Help with Exam Fees. Lasha is working hard to enhance her skill sets and compete in a market that’s high in demand with RPS; she will also be able to secure sustainable income. Therefore, she is asking for support with the cost of this exam (Family and Consumer Sciences Praxis exam). The exam is offered through ETS, which is the credential needed to qualify to teach this subject in schools.

Help with Groceries. Marie is a single mother of five children who has just received a small raise at work. This small raise has triggered a loss of food benefits. She also has seen an enormous increase in her gas bill as she has been taking her children back and forth to school every day since they have returned after the pandemic. She never asks for an assistant, but things are getting unbearable; she is reaching out to get help to pay this bill.

Her hours have been limited for the past few months and she has been doing her best to make ends meet while she searches for new employment that will support her schedule and need for quality childcare. She is working with the Promise Family network at Peter Paul to help her reach these goals. Assistance with this month's rental payments will allow her to focus on other pressing issues and help her get one step closer to creating a more sustainable plan to get through the next few months.
