Help with Clothes and Food. Denise is a participant in OCWB's workforce program. She is a single mother who is currently unemployed. Denise is enrolled in Medial Administrative Assistant training and needs assistance with food and underclothes for her children. This type of assistance will be a tremendous help to Denise's family.

She has recently experienced a gap in those benefits and needs assistance covering her rent for January as she is working to navigate this system.

She is working with legal aid to assistance as she battles with her landlord to cover the damages. She needs support covering the extended day hotel that she and her kids have been staying in since the incident.

Help with Clothing, Personal Essentials, and a State-Issued ID. Brey is a young participant enrolled in the Office of Community Wealth Building's workforce program. He has just completed the solar power in construction training. Brey is looking for a job and is determined to secure employment. however, there are some challenges that keep holding him back, like self-care, personal hygiene, warm clothing, and shoes. This type of support will give Brey the confidence he needs during his job search.

After making a payment arrangement, Christina needs help with reconciling her account. This type of help will help to keep the utilities on in the house.

She and her family are excited to be moving into a home of their own but need assistance with furniture. Tina is working with a local non-profit agency to acquire furniture but needs additional assistance.

Nancy is a returning citizen and recovering addict who has been clean for a little over two years. She is working to regain steady employment. She recently lost her job and has fallen behind on the rent at the rooming house where she stays. It is very important that she is able to maintain secure housing as she looks for a new job because this has the potential to throw off her progress and slow down her ability to regain custody of her children. She has several pending offers and reliable transportation and just needs a little support as she navigates the interim.

Khatiti has been out of work for the past several months due to a severe injury. She is recovering and waiting for the go ahead from her doctor to return. She is a single mother and is making due the best she can in the meantime. She is connecting with community organizations for financial and emotional support and is optimistic about with the near future looks like. Assistance paying this bill is just one of the pieces of the puzzle to help close the circle as Khatiti progresses.

Her work ethic and determination despite her circumstances is commendable. She is well on her way to reaching her goals and providing a sustainable economic situation for her children. Barbara has been sleeping in her car and has recently begun staying in a shelter. She needs a gas card so that she can continue to get to and from work as she continues to work with CCC to find stable and long-term housing.

She is vulnerable to COVID and is fighting cancer and COPD. It would be helpful for her to stay in a hotel for two nights while she waits for shelter.
