She is a traveling Med-tech with plenty of potentials. However, with the kids home, she had to turn down many job opportunities because of child care. Her oldest is off to college. Therefore, she has no support, but there is some relief coming with the opening of the school; all of her children are now enrolled in school, Mecca was able to pick up a job, but she needs help with uniforms and supplies. Mecca is humble and grateful for your support. At this time, she needs uniforms, a watch, nursing shoes, a mask, a blood pressure cup, a stethoscope, and a gas card.

He is a Lyft Driver and needs to make full payment very soon so he can keep driving. If the Giving Wall assists with this cost, his grandmother will pay the balance. He has been a Lyft Driver for two years and this support will help him continue to work as a driver.

Her living situation is very frightening for and her children due to an infestation of crime. Finally, she found a place to live, but before she could transfer her housing assistance, she must pay her past-due rent of $450 to move. Danielle's recent tragedy in her home has left her no choice but to move out, and her kids are grieving and depressed; she is asking for support with her balance due of $450.00, of which she has half. Danielle is determined to save her family, and she needs your help.

Yolanda is a single mother and needs assistance covering her rent this month. She has had to take two weeks out of work without pay to help tend her son's mental health. Her teenage son has been recently incarcerated after a mental health episode caused him a run in with the police. She has been forced to take unpaid time off to deal with the legal implications and make sure he receives the mental health support he needs and does not get lost in the system. This has caused her quite a bit of emotional stress. She could really use some support as she navigates this extremely difficult situation. This financial help will reduce the additional stress that would be caused by her bills falling behind due the missed time from work.

Tyla is a single mother of 3 who relocated to Richmond for a new job, but became homeless when she contracted COVID before starting work, and while pregnant. St. Joseph’s Villa helped Tyla get back on her feet by obtaining shelter for her and her children in a local hotel, and connecting her with supportive community resources. Since then, the family has moved into a new apartment, and welcomed a healthy newborn baby. Tyla has asked for assistance with supplies to help her care for her baby (diapers, changing pads, bottles and clothes).

Unfortunately, she has recently contracted Covid and has been forced into quarantine without pay which has put a hiccup in her plans. This financial support will help her stay on the path toward moving to the next level and will give her the freedom to just focus on getting better while she is out of work over the next two weeks.
