Bryant is a returning citizen and has been using his story to support young community members and non profits since his reentry in late October of last year. He is a skilled landscaper and handyman. He makes his income doing odd jobs for his neighbors and has built most of his clientele through word of mouth referrals. He is working to obtain his LLC in hopes of getting his business off or the ground so that he can create a more sustainable income for himself. He recently fell behind when his truck began having some issues and is now faced with the choice of repairing his only means of bringing in income or paying his rent for the rooming house where he lives. He has decided to start a job while he works on the truck but needs assistance while he awaits his first pay check to help keep him on the right track toward his goals.

Marquita is a single mother whose hours at work have just been significantly reduced. The family is also still grieving for the loss of the children's father, who passed away earlier this year. In addition to dealing with the emotional loss of a loved one, the family has also struggled with the lack of financial support that their father provided. Marquita needs assistance with this month's rent so that she and her children can remain stably housed.

Gabriella is a survivor of violence in her home country and a teen mom with a daughter. Both Gabriella and her daughter are living with a kind and loving foster family. Gabriella is working hard to finish school and earn her high school diploma while also assisting in the care of her daughter. Gabriella's daughter has outgrown her car seat and is ready to move into a bigger one.

Evan is currently sleeping in his car while working with an outreach worker to secure a longer-term housing solution. Evan does not have a phone, making it difficult for his outreach worker to connect with him. The lack of a phone has also made finding a job more difficult since Evan cannot list a phone number on job applications. A prepaid phone will help him secure housing and employment.

She recently found out that her lease will not be renewed due to a situation beyond her control. She has less than two months to find a new place and has to be very aggressive in her approach. She is raising money to make sure that she is able to move quickly when the right apartment opens up

Tanya is a single mother of two Richmond Public School high school students. She works as an advocate in one of the community organizations in the area and spends her days working for justice and equity for her neighbors. She has been experiencing a season of financial hardship but has been working hard to stay on top of it despite of it all. She was recently involved in a car accident and the repairs put her behind on several things. As such she is need of helping paying her car note this month, this could be the difference in her being able to stay on track with her other bills this month.
