Help Purchasing Washing Machine. Viola is employed part-time, enrolled in a work experience program for seniors. Her income is fixed and limited. Most of her daily living activities are done by public transportation. Recently, Viola's washing machine broke and it cannot be repaired. The laundromat in her community is not very close and not in a safe area as she only has time to wash her clothes during the evening when it is dark. Vola needs assistance with purchasing a new or used washing machine.

She didn’t have the extra funding to pay for it and needs to have some dental work done to avoid gum issues that can lead to further complications and even surgery. Getting this type of assistance will help improve the quality of Constance's life. Her dental work needs to be done soon.

Through the work experience program, Ronald will be getting the training he needs to qualify for his next position. He uses his car to get to his training program. Ronald needs new or used tire to sustain him thought the winter.

Dental Radiation Safety Course. Girlanis is a recent High School Graduate enrolled in the workforce program at the Office of Community Wealth Building, who is getting a Dental Assistant Certificate from the Adult Continuing Education Center. She needs assistance with paying for a Dental Radiation Safety Course. This certification will increase Girlanis’ chance of securing a job as a Dental Assistant.

His class was suppose to end on 12/1/2018, but will not end until the first week of February. Obtaining CDL certification will help Louis secure a job as a Truck Driver. Auto Repair. Britany took her car in for the annual inspection and it failed because of repairs that are needed. She needs assistance with paying $250.00 towards those repairs, so she can get back and forth to CDL training She is eager to complete the CDL training so she can began to search for jobs that will pay her a living wage. Although Britany is working currently, her job does not pay her enough to move out of crisis.

This program will help him receive the training he needs to qualify for a position in the construction industry. Before Dejuan enters the program he would like to get assistance with purchasing steel work boots to meet the safety requirements for this work experience position.

Utility Bill to Keep the Power On. Lydia is working part-time and has not had full-time employment since 2016. As she continues her job search, bills are mounting, Lydia needs assistance with paying her most recent utility bill to sustain the power in her house during this period of transition.

Drivers License. Elijah is in need of assistance with paying his court fees to reinstate his driving license. Being able to drive will allow him to gain greater access to job opportunities outside of the city of the Richmond.

He is enrolled 5C’s training program with the Office of Community Wealth Building and is working for Vessel Electric currently. In addition to working with Vessel, he is also enrolled at the Richmond Technical Center for Barbering. Snall has been diligent in his efforts to becoming self-sufficient. He has a car that he is unable to drive because of his license has not been able to get his driving license reinstated.

Electricity Bill. Barbara's roommate left without notice and didn't pay her part of the electricity bill. Now, Barbara has a cutoff notice for 12/21. She and her Career Advisor called Dominion Energy. Barbara will be able to enroll in a payment plan, but will need to pay $380 by 12/25 and break the remaining bill down in 6 monthly payments. Barbara is requesting $245.00 and her son will help her pay the remaining balance of $138.00 to pay this debt. Fulfilling this request will impact her life because it will keep her from being in her home without any electricity as the winter is approaching.
