Dana has been staying at CARITAS Emergency Shelter for the past three months while working on saving and locating housing. She's made a lot of progress while in this program and she has finally been approved and is preparing to move out of shelter and into a place of her own. We would like to provide her with an exit package containing some of the things she'll need for her new place. The exit package will include: a laundry basket, an air mattress, sheets, a blanket, a pillow, a towel and wash cloth, and a hygiene kit (containing feminine products, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.). Your support will help her refocus her savings on her move in costs and expenses that come with this transition.

Harolette came to CARITAS Women's Emergency Shelter at the end of July. Since coming to our shelter, Harolette has identified and qualified for housing. Unfortunately, she has an outstanding utility bill that is serving as a barrier for her getting utilities in her name when she moves. She has been saving for her move in costs and is struggling to get this bill paid in full. She will be putting a portion of her own income towards this bill, but your assistance would allow her to fully pay it off and be able to move into her new apartment.

Adam has been experiencing homelessness on and off for the past several years. He states that due to his homelessness he has struggled to be able to maintain employment. Now that he is in shelter and has a safe place to sleep and bathe, he is hopeful that he will be able to maintain stable employment and ultimately be able to move into his own place. In order to support him in finding employment, Adam is in need of black clothing (pants, shirts and shoes). He has been connected to a works closet but was unable to find anything in his size.

He found a car within his budget, but is short of funds for auto insurance. Micah would be grateful for assistance with his auto insurance bill, so that he can complete his car purchase, and maintain stable employment and housing.
